EASTER / SUMMER SCHOOL

Destination Dance aims to provide a fun packed Easter/ summer school week, full of dance, musical theatre and its related subjects.

The students will have the chance to take part and learn fun challenging combinations in many different dance styles; Street Dance, Lyrical Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Ballet,

In addition, a big show stopping dance number

which will be combined with singing and drama to make a musical theatre number.

At the end of each summer school there will be an exciting public performance for family and friends.

From time to time Destination Dance will run work shops in various dance styles and disciplines giving the student the chance to spend an intensive period learning new techniques and dance styles.

This is of upmost importance for a dancer as with fashion dance and its many different styles change with time. It is important to keep up with what is new and what is back.

 MASTER CLASSES

Rowan and Ian at Destination Dance are very fortunate to have built up a vast amount of contacts within the entertainment dance industry, enabling Destination Dance to have guest teachers take master classes. The master class is normally of a show that they are currently performing in on tour in Glasgow.

Giving students an amazing opportunity to learn some current show material and giving an inside view and an up to date idea of what is going on in today’s touring shows as well as meeting and working with some of the best talent in the dance industry today.
